If you are out on the back blocks, you should check your engine oil level, your fuel filter bowl, and for anything loose, every day, first thing before you start up.
This is part of the unwritten laws of travelling the outback of Australia.
Also, check your tyres and suspension.
It only takes about five minutes.
The other important unwritten law, is to not go past another travelling vehicle on a dirt track doing speed, so just slow down, as there is nothing worse then a broken windscreen on a dusty track.
