Q: Is the tray standard size or is it a couple of hundred mm longer?.

Take delivery of mine on 13/2 and reading your build thread has not made the wait any easier.
keep up the good work.

um I'm not quite sure if it's standard I just built it so it comes upto the tow bar & it's a bit narrower than a standard tray I think .
measures up 1800mm wide and 1600mm long

Originally was going to have it the width of the car but thought I need a little protection so I found out how far out side rails would come so I matched it :)

I'll make up some side rails soon .

Oh definitely fail of the year without a doubt

looks sweet mate! well done with the tray!

you forgot to mention where you got your flares from? I'm looking at getting some, and I'm hesitant to buy off eBay from Thailand.

cheers!

Ahh yes. I had work done to my car there one time.
They did extra work, and charged me without asking first. THEN when I got my car back I noticed that they had backed it into something. Broken tail light, broken side mirror, and dented a few panels.

I ended up with a denso snorkel and fitting it myself.

Building a camper trailer has really been taking its time while I am renovating a house , so a small mod has been made for our trip to SA .
