Rear bar Survey?

Postby merto on Thu, 14 Mar 2013 4:46 +0000

I'd just like to know if anyone has put together a rear bar survey...i.e. like the tyre survey? I've searched and couldn't find anything, have I missed anything? Does anyone have any views?

Merto I honestly dont know if it would be worthwhile to my knowledge theres not that many to choose from unlike tyres. Search "rear" in topics and display as topics only.

Recently put a tjm bar on the back of my 12 SR5. Very happy with it. Left it black, as they wanted about 350 to colour code. Like it because it has a quite long step to help standing when loading a roof rack. Also has hi-lift jack points and no bottom rail like the arb which may tend to drag on exit. Just my POV. Cheers

I've got the ARB "grader" bar.

It looks good and seems well made.

My hilux is at RASLARR engineering at the moment getting twin wheel carriers, chainsaw rack and light pole. Can't wait to see finished. Should pick it up later on in the week. Will post some pictures up if anyone is interested.

Yeah the tow bar stays with the SR, He did mention with the SR5 the tow bar sticks out more, so he car do the tow bar into the rear bar. They done everything you see, the chequer plate is folded up. I payed $2700 as you see. Also they are 33"s on the carriers. When I was looking the only brand that do a twin tyre carrier was MCC, was not happy with the look of their bar and they weren't sure if you could fit x2 33"s
