Cuzo's Build - update - Custom Tray Build - 12 volt

Thought I would start been inspired by alot of you guys and knowledge is great,

First thing I did was construct some custom draws for the back, to hold the bits and pieces I need for work, but the set up is temporarily but is working for know, went away last week end and used them for all the camping crap and they did all right,

Need to click on the pic to see it all - not sure why it does this.

I didn't use runners or any thing fancy, I ask my kitchen guy if had any cover sheets and he gave six sheets that had melamine on both sides if you know this stuff its very slippery, so all i did was hit it with some silicone spray and they slide like a dream.

Yesterday my tires were ready so into Castle Hill I went and the fitted up new 16" ROH rims with KUMHO Rubber.
Had to remove the front mud flaps cuase it was scrapping but all good next month the lift kit is on the cards.

Got it done, it took a while 10 hrs and a few stop and starts during the day, but hay, as long as it doesn't fall to pieces on tomorrow's trip.

Pic not real good will get some better ones tomorrow.

Hi Pete,

Thanks,

Yer there not bad, little bit of noise when the wind is blowing over them the right way but its minimal, still looking for a good rack for the roof to suit, I went this way instead of a fixed option, that way I could remove them if needed. I found it a nightmare trying to get them in the right position so they where level and far enough apart to carry timber or the occasional skirting and architrave on. Though I'm not a real fan of the brackets but hay they were at the right price when they had the sale on.

Any ideas on a cage for the top?? the one they make is like a light weight mesh job and I really want somthing I can attache a high lift jack to.

Cheers
Shawn

started my Dual Battery install today, was going well untill naubours come down with beers :D will try and finish it during the week.

I have a question though - I have a manual cut out switch that I want to put in to isolate the back tub if need be but should i install it before the relay or after ??

Also see the Toyota denso thingy in the bottom right corner of the first pic this was mounted were the battery holder is now, does this need to be earthed as I have only cable tied it in at the moment, and the mounting bracket seemed to be powder coated right through so it didn't seem to be earthed any ways. ??

Still a work in progress, but geeting there, originaly this was removable and still is just nee to unscrew 1/2 dozen screws.

Fridge Slide With 12v on the side
Image

Large draw, runs on malimine against malimine and some silicone spray works a treat, I made it size to fit some plastic draw type containers from bunnings so as the food and utensials dont bounce around, above is a slide out shelf for the cooker, the runners are just kitchen slides to see if the hole thing was going to work, just bought from the same guy as the fridge runners a set of 550mm to replace these.
Image

The right hand side wing lifts up and has a gas stay on it so I can access the recover gear and the air compressor, fire extinguisher
Image
Image

The left hand side also lifts up at the rear of the cooker slide is storage for pans and gas, just behind this you can see an infill that goes back to the rear of the cab, there 2 iether side and they just lift out, this were I store bags and sleeping gear, camp ovens
