Plenty of good info here mate from all the boys. Its up to you what you want. After all its just an exhaust and you can change it up if need be.

Im running 3" with a cat and no muffler and a hotdog resonator.

What do you mean does it make the turbo spool up wrong?? Short answer ... no it doesnt.

as mentioned previously, I have the 3" from Scott's Rods.
it has cat, and sports muffler.

it gives a very nice sound, but not loud.
the best sound is around 2k rpm under load. u can also hear spool up and down if you listen carefully

i just got my 3'' system with high flow cat muffler from my mates workshop... gona install it this weeknd just wondering if there is any point in punching out the cat i know with my old drag ute i did this and made alot of difference... has anyone tyred it is it worth the effort on the lux?

The penalties for not having a cat are seriously heavy and if you get a matched hi-flow model with your exhaust you'll be no worse off having one.
