I'm trying to get the driver's side one out.... no chance of pulling off the 'glove box' on that side.....
I have managed to get the cover off - there are two tangs which hold that on... but the drawer and frame......
All I can gather at present is that there are a number of rear mounted screws - the top one I can feel... but any more on the bottom are hidden behind the lower dash cover - that runs the entire width from door to centre console.....
Anyone pulled one of these out yet.....? and please let the forum know the procedure.....

my mate had to hire a ute.
i told him to make it a hilux.
so we did the cup holder / blank plate switcheroo.
i only had limited time to do this before he had to send the hire car back, so i practiced quickly on the hire car then installed mine carefully. this happened about a year ago so i cant quite remember exactly how it was done, but i definitely didn't drill holes and it really wasn't that hard to do.
don't steal.
