Hi every one i have a 2014 sr5 hilux 4 litre auto v6 with cruise control and going up a hill in cruise it drops back and revs up to 4,000 rmp which seems far to much to me i have asked the service department at local toyota dealership and they said its all within specks i asked toyota australia and all they could say was there nothing they can do just wondering has any body else had a similar problem ?

Thats normal mate.it was happening to me too untill i learned how to handle it. Half a km before the uphill step on it a few good 15-20kms and will compensate for that extra rev will need not to gear down.At the end (the gearbox software) will teach itself that it wont need t gear down unless the hill is too steep.
