That is the same performance kit that I am running. The 0 - 62 M/Hour figures are the same as mine did at Willowbank. 11.145 sec to 660ft mark with 61.97m/h.

Max - I'm fairly sure there won't be a new shape in 2010, as typically, all manufacturers retain the shell / chassis as having a timespan of about 9 yrs, before a major new model change. 2010, will see current model only about halfway through its time. Expect 3 facelifts / upgrades before total new model, if previous Toyota history is anything to go by. ;) ;)

Maybe if we start a dedicated badgering of the toyo dealers demanding full time 4WD and the V8 from the new cruiser.

Jeez i dream of having that engine in a full time 4WD lux.

Can't see what all the fuss is about with the chipped model in the link, nothing that a months wages wouldn't get you in aftermaket bits.

Still can't get me head round toyo taking that moose test seriously and going down to 15" wheels on the UK spec invincible from the 16" last year.

We have got both the 2.5 120 bhp and the 3.0 litre over here in the UK, they have jsut launched the limited edition Hilux 200 which has been played with by Toyota Motorsport to kick out 196 bhp, all under warranty, only doing a limited run of 500 which my brother is having one, lucky f**ker

I think that they should have squared off the front abit, more like the US Tacoma's....make it look tuffer! and maybe some bigger flares and bigger wheel arches.

It is equipped with the 3.0-litre D-4D engine that already features in the Hilux Invincible, but thanks to a Toyota Motorsport diesel engine performance kit, maximum output is increased to a massive 194bhp (197 DIN hp). This slashes the nought to 62mph acceleration time from 13.0 to 10.5 seconds (11.4 seconds for automatic versions).

Very interested... Upgrade for the D4D.
