yes they are made by denso.sold through toyota with their endorsement but any warranty goes through denso.

the bonnet protector can be fitted with the reinforcing plate.some extra holes to drill which is easier if they drill before the plates installed but can be done after with the help of a drill stop

I finally got around to putting mine on over the weekend.
I found the template to be a couple of mm out which made life more difficult than it needed to be. Has anyone else found this? The big 111mm hole wasn't centered on the intake pipe behind, which made it quite difficult to mate it to the snorkel. I also had to slot a hole to get the studs on the snorkel to fit, which doesn't make sense because regardless of where I put the template the holes are in the same relationship to each other.

Overall it was pretty easy.

Had to slot a hole. Not the 111mm hole isn't very centered on the intake pipe behind

Had a quick look at my new Hilux in the dealers workshop yesterday. the snorkel had been fitted already.

They're now branded with the Toyota logo and not Denso. Looks no where near as sexy as the Denso snorkel which is a BIG disappointment.

From Toyota's Web site ...

If you're after the pre 2016 one, it's on the first page.
Not sure about the 2016 one though

Had a close look at mine today in the dealers workshop and it's a dead ringer for the Denso apart from the body horizontal length.

the new model snorkels have a toyota part number & are supplied from toyota whereas the previous model have a denso part number & when dealers order them from toyota they are shipped direct from denso.

dunno how much longer they are gonna be available. ones been getting lately have a 2013 date on them like they were at the bottom of the pile. who knows with toyota

For the new Hilux I'd be looking at the TJM snorkel.

Is there a way to install a snorkel without drilling our pillars like maybe using a strong all weather double adhesive tapes such as 3M instead of using drills and screws for the pillar.. i dont mind drilling the fender. Except for the pillar

What size holes need to be drilled into the pillar? Also 11mm?

No, from memory they are 6mm, just big enough for the nutserts.
