Around (Sydney) town for work, and loaded to just over 3000kgs, the scan gauge gives me a pretty consistant read of 11.5-12L/100km. Last september we went down to Mildura, Lake Mungo, Ivanhoe and back to the families place at Coolah, and the scan gauge for the whole trip read 9.5L/100km, obviously a lot lighter than in work mode, we only had camping gear/fridges etc on board. Still has the aerodynamics of a house brick, with massive toolboxes on the back.

I think as someone else mentioned earlier, they really need a taller OD, it likes to drink if you try and sit on anything over 105km/h on the open road.

Hope this helps.

Awesome mate thanks, guess thats still pretty good for a 4.5 litre sized motor - my old 4.0 litre falcon would have to drink close to 16 litres per hundred easily...

Maybe fitting a larger set of tyres would help out the freeway rpms and bring the consumption down - good excuse to grab some 33's i rekon, apparently they can fit straight without a sus lift

Yeah right!

Its already got a 2" lift, and larger BFG AT's which did help in bringing the speedo back to in line with two gps units (was originally reading about 10% out)

I can only assume the dual cab is the same?

Is there any other Cruiser drivers on here?

Nice one, i bet its a weapon off road!

Yeah dual cab would be the same - 33's will fit straight on. If it was me i would go the next slightly wider size up 305/70/16 which would give it a wider stance but pretty much the same diameter so would still fit easy. Already havn the sus lift your pretty much laughing anyway

Nice one Alby!

When I put the sus-lift on I also upgraded the rear leaf packs to +600kgs each corner, and for some reason didn't bother with the GVM upgrade, bugger!
