Hey everyone I was over in Thailand last week and wondered into a couple of Toyota dealerships. Down in Ubon Ratchathani they had a 2012 SR5 TD manual dual cab in white with leather and reverse camera. 926 000 baht drive away. Just under $31000. Yep we get ripped big time. Sorry Rice.... I thought of buying a couple and putting them on a barge. The flood waters will eventually bring them here.

Just a question for the guys over here in the West of OZ.
Has anyone picked up their new model hilux yet and if so, when did you pick it up? Ordered my SR5 turbo diesel in July and was told the delivery would be some time in November.Rang my stealership up at the start of October asking for a delivery date only to be told "not too sure when in November , but November sometime". Rang him back up at the start of this week only to be told "it won't arrive until sometime in December due to flooding in Thailand". Getting a little impatient!!!

Cant figure out how the commercial bar can bolt straight on to the new model but the Deluxe bar cant,as for the 300 on backorder you can bet they fill the overseas orders 1st.My local ARB has 20 deluxe bars ordered and he reckons if he gets half of them out of the first batch he would be amazed, hopefully mine is one of them.

The commercial bar didnt need any changes so can be fitted as usual, have seen a few in Melbourne already, but the deluxe and the sahara bar must need a bit of playing around with to get right and then they will have to be tested for airbags etc.

Hmmmm the commercial bar didn't need changing??
Pretty sure when I was getting talked into it the other day I was led to believe they were just in, and only two available!!!
Anyway I didn't do it and decided to wait for the deluxe.
I wonder if I made that up in my own head or if I was getting some BS.
Strike one for that shop... many more to choose from in the big smoke.

I was talking with a guy from ARB approx two weeks ago about the delivery date of the deluxe bar and he said if i had ordered it that very day, it would arrive in 4-6 weeks. How true this is i'm yet to see as i'm currently waiting for my new hilux to arrive first but the guy from the dealership had heard the same thing. At that stage there were approx 280 on back order. In a nutshell, early december but i'll believe that when i see it.

Well I too am waiting for this deluxe bar and have been wondering if they were just going to fix the same bar and change the fill's around the light and grill extra. Was not sure what they were going to do about the different angle the new face lift hilux has with the guards to the bumper. Hoping there was not going to be some ugly gap or weird angle.

Found this pick....hard to see but looks like there a gap and the angles dont meet up nicely.

Hope I see one in person fitted before fitting to mine.
