 We have avoided working on the Mahindras until next week. He desperately needs a suspension kit so we have to help him out.

$54000 SR5 dual cab metalic paint tubliner floor mats with silver fleet discount drive away in WA. Getting numerous quotes let them beat each other down. Original prices have started from $57000 - $62000 until i told them i was going to get quotes elsewhere pencil gets sharpened pretty quickly. They'll screw you if they can but ispose thats there job to achieve higher commision etc. Pitty they always have to try it on, they would get my loyalty straight away if they didn't.

ROPS heavey duty tray extra $2700 if i want.

Who knows a good dealer that doesn't play games, has good back up support and you don't have to argue with warranty issues etc in Perth or around the South West area. Would also consisder buying one from over east considering cars always seem to be cheaper to buy over there and truck back here due to cheaper stamp duty tax etc??
Any ideas muchly appreciated
Cheers in advance

Yeah $51000 so far and haven't really started to push the issue. Actualy trying to convince myself not to go and buy the new ford ranger that's come out for 2012. Every review ive read so far raves about the ranger over the hilux.
Yes i know this is a hilux forum! But value for money has me thinking???
Willing to be convinced either way!!!!

ultimate wrote:I just read this on the triton forum. Good news for new buyers but devasting for others :(

This was in relation to the pricing being released for the new Ford Ranger which comes in at $60,000 for the top of the range wildtrak.

...and Toyota has just dropped prices on the Hilux in response. The new 2012 Lux SR5 manual TD is $50,990, a drop of $2,700 and that's after adding $2,700 worth of additional eqipment including sat nav.

Won't be too many previous model SR5 Lux owners rabbiting on about their resales. They've just had $5k+ removed off their second-hand values after one press release. That would make them the fastest depreciating DC ute out there at the moment.

Toyotas, have done and will continue to hold value better than the rest.
Rabbit rabbit...... my ass 5k has come off hiluxs with the release if the new look job....
Some poor dude wrote that, he couldn't afford the Hilux.

My girlfriend and I were potting around the Toyota dealer near us a few weekends ago and I asked about the drive away price for a Dual Cab TD Auto SR5 and the guy said around $64k!

I won't pay more than $55k when I'm ready, if I even chose the SR5 - SR's seem better bang for buck to me.
