I think that would find a lot more sales if they were that price is why I posted it

I just can't justify it and I am sure a lot of other people are in the same boat

But for 2k I'd buy them

I just had front & rear ARB lockers fitted to my 200 series and cost was $3019 fitted (already had the compressor installed) the best quote I could get for the E-lockers fitted for was $4600 through OL thats a massive difference and I never had a problem with the ARB lockers in the Hilux.

It's abit hard mate when one store tells you one thing and another the totally opposite, and both being reliable sources.... Who do you believe....

$1,600 is expensive if it's just the locker as the E-lock you can bargin them down to about $1,450 plus fitting.

Na not fitted, 1600 is just for the unit, the store i waa talking about it reakoned about 350 for rear and 500 for front, but that was all a rough figure. He said it would be under 4 grand all up if front and rear was done at same time...

Jack i would be wary of anything that OL orange says we deal with them for work and have had some pretty tall stories from them. G & C manufacturers are ironman dealers too

Thanks for that mate, i only ring ol and ask them about products, no way i would purchase anything off them. My mate got some stuff off them for his D40 and they ended up ordering the wrong bar, than once the right one came in and they fitted it, they scratched both of his front quarter pannels. scratched the hell out of the new bar and it wasnt even powdercoated. But at the end of the day they just shoot themselves in the foot!!

Iv heard some shocking stories about OL as well, nevertheless I went and had them install a snorkel onto the lux...596 fitted which came in cheaper than anywhere else - and its safari...first thing i did after they installed it was made sure it wasnt rough - apparently once you drive away their warranty stops! but all seems to be fine now...he also quoted me 2.5k(ish) for a rear e-locker fitted, prob a bit much for my liking - so ill talking to ironman very soon if they are bringing one out!

$2500 for a rear Elocker is a bit rich mate. Should be around $1600 for the locker and $450 for thew fit.

E-locker is probably a trademark and the design and use is a patent... No reputable dealer would touch a copy that would infringe those laws, it would be suicide.

I have a LOKKA and haven't installed yet... Anybody got comments on them?

The Ironman unit IS an Eaton-Harrop unit, I have held one for a GU & it is marked as such. The dealers are waiting for Ironman to "register?" them to sell the unit. Retail will be about $1600 plus $500 for fitting. Won't be long now! ;)
