yep i use in snips as well a nicer finish

Another option if you don't have access to specialist tools.

Buy a new sharp 1/8 drill bit and drill consecutive holes using light press around the inside radius.

Remove the disc then tidy up the the cut out with a half round file or nibbler or Dremal

Does anyone have any feedback after fitting one of these to a v6? I have heard from a few sources of fuel economy problems with safari and airtech on v6 luxes.

Boxy, are the two pillar mounts supposed to be solid? Mine have some slight movement, nothing I'm worried about unless of course they are actually not meant to be.

Ha, typical... I've ordered a new Hilux to replace my 2008 D4D dual cab, and the dealer quoted me $2100!!!! I've replied to his email saying its daylight robbery and I won't be getting it!

I specified the Denso one in my quote request. Not sure what other one they would quote- especially at that price. A custom stainless one maybe?!

Hilux price was good - $46,000 on the road. Nearly $9k less than what I paid back in 2008! Competition in the market is a good thing...

B/H,

Nearly had a heart attack at local Toyota shop. Denso snorkel $585.00 plus 4 hours fitting for @ $600.00 = $1185.00 total. Ferkin hell! Gave it a big miss.
At least they replaced my rotors which got rid of the bloody squealing.
