BIRD SH!T ON PAINT

Postby DAVE07 on Fri, 04 Jan 2013 5:28 +0000

Hey guys,

I was up at Lake Eildon yesterday jet skiing and had my lux parked under a tree for shade (was a 40 degree day)

When I went to get the car to put the ski up i noticed a few bird droppings on the bonnet which had been baking on the car all day. I hosed it off last night but when i washed her this morning i noticed it had staines the paint :( pretty disappointed as i had only given her a wax (meguiars) about 2 washes ago.

Any one know of any remedies to get these stains out? Its black paint to pretty noticeable on the bonnet. Don't really want to cut the paint back too much as shes only 6 months old.

Thanks fellas.

There is a product that my Dent bloke uses called "FARECLA G4 PASTE" it absolutly works a treat and got every mark of my 08 Subaru Liberty which is a charcoal colour, nothing else would take it off. Its about $25-$30 a tube.

If you have waxed it should be able to give it a light polish to remove it. Then rewax that panel once finished
