Hilux Ute Tray Drawings

Postby Doddy on Mon, 14 May 2012 7:14 +0000

I've just bought a 2012 single cab chassis which doesnt have a tray.'Im trying to save some money by fabricating the tray myself. I understand that the tray base blueprint from 2005 to current is still the same. Can anyone verify this for me? Has anyone managed to make up a drawing that they have produced a tray base from? If so, are you willing to share it on the forum or perhaps email it to me? If not, I will draw it up myself but Im hoping to start fabrication as soon as possible and will be very greatful to anyone who can speed up the process for me. Hoping someone can help! Thanks for your interest. :D

Hilux Ute Tray Drawings

Not to sure mate. I would say they are the same. I have a 2010 single cab. Check out my tray. I did that my self.

Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Mine is 1800 wide x 2400 long

Build the basic tray and fab up the mounts once you get your ute. A lot less room for error then.

Let me know if you want any measurements. As you will have 8 chassis mounts. All of my mounts were individually cut as they weren't all the same height.
