Show us your Rock Sliders

Hello all,

Im keen to make up a set of rock sliders for my hilux and i think i know what design i want.

Im goin to make C channels and bolt then to the chassis then prob use some RHS as the sliders similer to the ones in the pic.

Ill use different attaching system to this but almost the same rails as this one

Any ideas, or can anyone show what they got???

I think there is no difference because your wheel base is the same , it would mean the step would go past cab to tray i think
lets u have a step to get to tub i suppose

Heres a question for you all to ponder over.....if getting custom sliders made up, to achieve an "as high clearance as possible" slider what do you guys think about cutting small section of the pinchweld under the sill and allowing the mounts to go through them to gain an extra inch?

just an idea I may look into one day.......

max that would also make it alot easeyer to get the braces from the chasie to the slider frame as you wouldent have to try and angel them down from the chasie but im abit cautios of cutting into my sill. my frame sits at the same level as the bottom pinch weld so its about 1/2 inch higher than dluxs. am going bush this weekend but will get one side finished next week and post a pic

Hey guys, Ive got a single cab SR trayback and I'm wondering if theres anyone out there that have sliders on their single cab too. Would love to see photos of the completed project and any build up pics too. Thanks Luke

did you only hav the 2 braces holdin the sliders to the chassis? Do you find this strong enough?
