Under Tray Trundle Drawer fitting

Postby Phil123 on Tue, 03 Nov 2020 7:19 +0000

Hello,
I am looking at fitting an under tray drawer to my 2013 4x4 dual cab. I have a factory alloy tray fitted and Ive been looking on ebay at afew. The issue is there is a heap of room under there, but there is three cross braces that will block the drawer. I will need about 180mm and at the moment there is only 120 due to the braces. I dont want to lift the tray any higher, has anyone fitted one of these trundle type drawers? And can the braces be moved and modified some way to give more
room.?

Thanks

Anything is possible if your pockets are deep enough. I'd suggest however that raising the tray 40 or 50 mm is gonna be way less on the hip pocket than all the engineering and everything else that'd go along with redesigning the chassis.
Back to the "KISS" rule is where I'd be looking.
