Price to modify dual cab tray mounting points to extra cab?

Hi guys, I'm thinking of changing my tub over to a flat tray and don't want a typical extra cab length. Happy to settle with a typical dual cab one (1.8m) which I'll obviously have better luck finding used for a decent price.
Anyone have any ideas what it would set me back to have the mounting points modified to suit an extra cab?

You could well pick up 4 points automatically, if the tray was from a same series lux.
If the tray is alloy, most mount points are bolted so just unbolt and move to suit. If steel, you may well find you can buy a short piece of Angle iron and drill and bolt yourself.
A lot of variables, but all easily overcome, with a little work.

Thanks alot gen7xtracab. It's my first Ute and I've not had a chance to see what's underneath a tub or tray but that's very handy info, looks like I'll have a ton of options then.
