Running boards / side steps ('94-'05 vs. 2006)

Hi there,

just had a weekend in the mountains and doing tons of off roading in a fun group but I managed to totally destroy one of my side-steps / running boards.

I actually am happy it was there because it prevented panel or door damage.
Not the original ones will run me at about 200 €, there are some nice aftermarket ones for about 250 €. All good there.

But I found a used set (would very much love to go cheap here) for only 25 €. They are original.
Now the owner says they are for a '94-'05. I run a 7th gen 2006. Would they fit? They look the same!

All the best and thx!

Not what you want to hear I know but if ya planning on doin more offroading then I'd suggest getting yourself some quality rock sliders. Phatbars do some nice ones. Well worth the money as there is only so much an alloy step board will take. Seen plenty of them get pushed up and actually becoming the cause of the damage. Just some food for thought.

Thx, I plan on going that level of off roading like 4-6 times a year. I will deff. remove the side steps next time. It's only 6 bolts per side.
