Query: Securing fog lights in Toyota Steel Bull Bar

Postby William_Foster on Sun, 05 May 2019 3:34 +0000

Afternoon all,

I am just wondering about the fog lights on the standard Toyota Steel Bull Bar (2013 model). The lights have always felt loose, I just had a look to try and see if I can secure them a bit more.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could let me know whether these lights are designed to have a bit of movement, or whether they should be a little more secured; I have attached some photos below for reference.

This is a photo of the front of the light:

This photo shows the only securing screw I can find for the light

This photo shows the side mount of the light, which seems to have been designed to allow for a range of movement

Hi
Just put same Silastic around the mounts and let it dry.

I have the same bar and fogs. Mine have movement too but they don't appear about to fall out.

As they are fogs not spots, I don't see a real problem with focus.
