Hey guys trying to find out if I can put a n 80 tub on to a n70 chassis or even better if I can bolt an n80 canopy to a n70 tub
. Reason being I want buy a canopy but I only like the look of the n 80 canopies with the flush windows . Specially the aeroklas canopies that tjm sell . If anyone has done it knows some one let us know how it went and how it looked after the result . Cheers

Hi there Thomo

There is this thread below but it doesnt give a definitive answer - it is a wider body
https://www.newhilux.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=27252

I will have another search tonight when I have more time.
I thought I read another thread last year that said the mounting bolts may not line up. Anything can be modified to work though ;)

Ok I’ll have a look too I tried a while back couldn’t find anything , I saw an ad on gumtree a while back a bloke was selling a n80 canopy on a n70 tub but the photos weren’t real good and needed to know more about how it all went together ,

If your'e not worried about different dimensions and body lines it may be alright.
Sounds like the front bolts are fine but the mid and rears might need some modification... no pics though
