So, I went down the route of self install on the ARB Deluxe bar. Overall, I'm very impressed by the packaging of the bar and all parts, everything was well protected in the box as it should be, fitting kit is easy to decipher and the instructions that come with the bar have been excellent.

The install has gone great up until this afternoon where I have the bar on the car and need to move it around to adjust the clearances. It seems impossible to get the suggested 20mm gap to the panels and have clearance between the bar and grill. Also, my headlight seems to have two points that I can't find in any other pictures or the instructions (I'm thinking it's a late addition for the 2013 facelift?), these points also get very close to the fill panels on the bar.

If anyone with the '13 facelift and the same bar is able to post some pictures of how much clearance they have to the guard, headlight and the grill, that would be awesome! Any other advice also welcome (other than take it back to ARB I'm determined to finish this myself).

I did my 08 arb Sahara bar and had to use a jack and block of wood to lift the bar the last few mill

What stage are you stuck at mate?

Sorry mate I don’t have the instructions but a place that sells arb parts could get them for you.
I fit them occasionally at work (panelbeater) and the instructions are extensive and need to be followed exactly.
