Hi guys,
I've searched high and low for an answer but I can't seem to find one. I have an 05 sr5 hilux with a hard lid. I'm installing a face lifted tub and roll bar and am wondering if the existing lid with be compatible with the newer roll bar.

The tub did not change from 05-15 they just changed the taillight design, the mounting points for the roll bars also remained the same.

I currently have the 3pc hardlid off a 2014 Hilux fitted with a 2005 roll bar on a 2007 tub.

The roll bars are interchangeable with the new or older lid.

Mine is an 06 with the older (heavy) lid & roll bar. I bought the newer roll bar and it bolted straight on, i just had to move the lid infills.

My mates 06 was the same deal but i helped him put in the newer lid (so much lighter!) with the new roll bar.

Just an FYI, there is a difference in mounting points between the newer and older lid. The newer lid uses a hinge with a removable pin while the older lid uses a hook in latch.

Dose the sr hard lid (without the roll bar) fit the sr5 tub?
