Phat bars rear step bar

Hey guys and gals, does anyone know if the Phat bars rear step bar would fit around the Parkside towbar on my 2014 sr? I spoke to Paul from phat bars and he is unsure as they were designed to fit the factory Toyota towbar. Does anyone know if the Parkside towbar are a similar size/design to the factory towbar or has anyone fitted a Phat bar rear bar with a non factory towbar? Cheers
