Hi All,

Can anyone let me know if the tubs are the same all the way through from the 2005 to 2012 Hilux? I think the tail lights might be different but would like to know if I can fit a 2012 tub straight onto a 2006 model.

I haven't done it myself but they would be same mounts and all I'd reckon mate

Thanks, but it looks like it's irrelevent now. I was watching one going cheap in my area on ebay but was sold before the end of the auction.
There's plenty of others out there, will just have to travel a bit further.

contact you local toyota dealer they may have some lying about from when people swapped to flatdecks

Sorry to bring up old thread.

Just to double check, I am about to purchase a facelift 2011 wellside (tub) for my 2006 hilux (both are 2WD double cab).

Is it pretty much bolt off and bolt on? I always like to measure twice and cut once, so just making sure it fits before I buy this tub

All good, bought it anyway. Need some more searching around the forum and see it's a straight sway. Will round up some mates to swap it over!
