Any know if the 2011+ facelift lights/ grill/ bonnet bolt directly to a prefacelift car? hope fully radiator support panel hasnt been changed.
Also are the gaurds the same up to current model as the new indicators look very simlar shape to the older 150 series model.
Id like to make myself a facelift hilux out of my 07 for not much money.

Don't forget your bullbar. Dont see why it couldn't be done but I doubt it would end up being that cheap!

I think the guards are also different, thats why the ARB bars took so long to come

yeh the profile of the flares are squarer but the indicator cutout looks very similar,i get some part numbers from toyota.

I looked at two side by side at the panel beater the other day and there looks to be no difference on the radiator support but the guards, bonnet ,grill , headlights and bumper can not be interchanged from the 2012 to the 2005-2011,,, its ether the full 2012 front or the older set up.... I can hold a new head light up to the 2006 model down there next time i go past the shop...

this is about the only relevant post i can find... i have a 2007 2WD and need another front bar. I see plenty of 2010 on bars for sale . They have different lower lights. does anyone know if they fit on their own or are other changes/parts needed???

terryo,,, The bumpers fit no problems 05 through to 2012 but the newest 2012 face lift doesn't fit previous models

How about Bonnet? Can you fit 2012 bonnet to 2006 Hilux?

I'm in the same boat. I have seen plenty of 2008 Hiluxes with the front end converted - so it must be a standard bolt-on procedure?

Yep. Change out the panels lights bar etc.

If you already have a bullbar fitted just by the grill plate and fit it. You can also just buy the air scoop or one similar and modify it so it just bolts on the your current bonnet. Leave everything else as is. I prefer aftermarket headlights so I would have them fitted instead.

I have an 06 and I changed the lights to a 2011 as I like the clear look lights. You need the different blinker light holder as they are different. I also upgraded to a 2008 onwards front bar, and they go on easy, but the grille cut outs are different. If you get a bar from a later model you need the grille as well, other than that, everything bolts up. In fact, I had no fog lights and the bar I picked up did, and when I plugged the lights in (same plug) I had working fig lights so I was happy with my cheap bar upgrade.

Didn't get the clearest answer out of this post - Can anyone confirm the following f?

- Bonnet from 2012 facelift fits a 05-11
- Grill from 2012 facelift fits a 05-11 (after bonnet is replaced due to curve at top of grill)
- Rear sports bar from 2012 facelift can fit 05-11 (with or without redrilling)
- Front & rear lights from 2012 facelift can fit 05-11 no problem
- Tailgate from 2012 facelift can fit 05-11

I'm in the middle of buying all the pieces for this and you will need the front guards as the lights shape is different and front bumper as well. The wiring on the lights and blinkers is the same, but the plug for the Parker lights is different.
Rear lights are the same fitting but you need a different plug for the blinker. If you check eBay, you will see them offer the rear lights with the harness, you need the harness and then it is plug and play.
I forgot to mention if you go the SR5 guards you will need to get the side mirrors with blinkers as they are deleted on the upgrade model.
I have trial fitted the from bar, lights and grille and the all line up to existing holes. Haven't sourced guards or bonnet yet. I also fitted a 2015 tub on my 2007 and it was plug and play.

Any news on face lift guys?

I did the upgrade on the tail-lights on my tub - just needed the upgraded harness for the rear tail-lights as ONE plug is different. Otherwise, Plug-N-Play

Everything is interchangeable I believe - I had two Hiluxes next to one another and the mounts where in the same position on both

I am sourcing:

-Bonnet
-Front Guards
-Grill (Aftermarket)
-Headlights (Aftermarket)

As for the roll bar in the tub - I am not 100% sure the drill mounts are the same.

Roll bar will fit but you will need to drill new holes for back legs.

No one has actually answered this.
Surely someone has done it and can confirm or confirm it does not fit?

Do the following a 2012-2015 panels and parts fit on a 2005-2011 body?

- Bonnet? Yes / No
- Newer Guards? Yes / No
- Newer headlights? Yes / No
- Newer Bullbars or Bumper skins? Yes / No

IF no to the above, if you were to change the Radiator Support panel (welding required) would it work then?

Yes I know its not really economic to do it for the sake of a change, BUT if there was front end damage and most parts were being replaced anyway it probably would.

Advice please of someone who actually KNOWS or has done it, not just opinions & maybe's
