G'day fellas

What are your thoughts on the toyota bullbar versus the commerical ARB/TJM for the current model dual cab SR

The deluxe bar look great but can't really justify the price at this stage.

Thanks in advance

That depends on what your doing as in if you need a better approach angle off road or just general front protection.
From what I know about the Toyota bullbars is that they hang down about as much as the stock bumper would, anyone know otherwise please correct me.

There are cheaper brands out there as well, I have an MCC winch alloy bullbar you should be able to get them cheap on eBay from Thailand perhaps.

Mate the Toyota bar is 1200 I think, or it use to be, a comericial style arb is the same price! I wouldn't touch the Toyota, there big, bulky and look shit, jump onto a arb, tjm bar, or even a buddy bar, check out the monster rides section and take a look man...

ive got a ARB commercial on mine dosnt sit as low as the toyota unit and i think better looking. it isnt the prettiest bullbar in the world but it's functional. cost me a squeak under $1000 (August 2011) iirc.

that said i think the toyota offers better protection of the suspension components because it hangs low instead of coming up at the sides. I guess its a trade off between to you expect to be running into things and needing protection or driving over things and needing clearance more.
