Mate I live in the remote NT so I'm nearly always on gravel, fitted an ARB canopy vent to the top of the canopy and haven't noticed any dust in it so far. I think it was about $40, but I'm sur you could find something similar on eBay or somewhere, the thing I like about mine is I can close it, whereas a lot of the home jobs I've seen you cant

You need to look for a scupper vent from a marine shop (probably cheaper) or RV supply shop like Camec. Also Caddy Storage have a couple.

This is what I put in mine (ARB for a new canopy vent) cost about $30

I hope this helps. . . and I dont get to much dust in the back
