Yeah my old ute had heaps of stone chips from the tyres flicking up stuff. Wasn't running mudflaps though.

Picked up the sliders from the powdercoaters yesterday
Was fairly keen to get em home and bang em on as its been a long project
Its pretty hard to get a good photo will try again but happy with the end result now to get out and try them out one day soon.

Cheers Mate. In theory they are designed to lift off but havnt tried yet will look into it for you.
Hindsight is fantastic but should have made them an inch or so wider to be a bit further from the door when jacking

First timer poster/Newbie.
Am going to design some rock sliders for my hilux@2015 double cab model, just wondering how people have mounted theres to the chasis? ave search through the forum and theres heaps of pics of there design and installed on the truck but nothing under the vehicle? like how many anchor points theve used, u-bolts, plates, what type of bolts etc. pictures would be great and really apprieciated.

Hi,
Digging up an old thread here. But I’m in the process of making some sliders close to what Lyndon has made. Just struggling to come up with how to make the rear passenger side as most of the pictures on here have disappeared. I can’t even fit a 10mm plate between the fuel tank and chassis.
Any underside photos would be great help. Thank you.
