Wouldn't be much use if you hit an animal or anything really.. But at least it looks cool?

Yeah that's what I'm getting at, hold a light bar and a winch but it'd be pretty well useless for what a bullbar is actually supposed to do..

Same as my Rhino bar as in not offering much protection but how often have you hit an animal?

Bullbars are illegal on the road in the Netherlands (europe).

Even the tiny bar on the Rhino bar would have to be removed to make it legal.

That tiny bar is an optional add-on to hold lights, but the bumper is still a steel bar, so maybe not legal there.

I believe that it CAN be legal only if you mount a winch.

withouth winch it's a bumper with pedestrian safety issues, that's illegal
with winch it's a working tool. That should be possible.

Often enough to justify decent bar work. We live in an area packed with wildlife that never seems to get what vehicles are, even during the day, plus i drive a lot at night for my job normally. I do probably around 60,000 km a year on average, last year it was more. To give you an idea, we use all our tickets on kangaroos within a few days, have 2 professional shooters on board, my brother is actually paid to go shooting as part of his job. I take a 223 to work with me most days and use up most of the ammunition i take out daily, pigs, roos, foxes, plus we have a shitload of emus! but as far as I am aware they cant be culled, annoyingly as they love to test the 'structural integrity' of our fences, even brand new ones..

Ow yeah I really see that for such an area decent barwork is more than protecting against that 1 treeroot on the track.

However in Netherlands where everything is tiny and even parking slots in a line are only 5.20 meters. A bumbers most important job would be to withstand the towhook of someone with bad parking skills

Actually I just crashed my stock bumber this weekend on a tree root in a tiny corner on a short 4x4 trail.
