2013 model bonnets

Hi all

I have a 2013 model 4x4 with the 3L turbo diesel motor. I am soon to replace my intercooler with a larger core front mount unit and was wondering if the bonnet off a 2013 petrol hilux would fit on my 3L diesel? Having the intercooler front mounted will make the coin slot in my bonnet unnecessary and i want it gone. Any thoughts?
