I did on my last 04 hilux. Seemed to give it a bit more torque, I reckon its worth doing. The stock manifold is really restricted especially the y piece behind the motor that joins the two

yes the stock standard exhaust for the 3.4 is an absolute joke!

even just a high flow cat and a 2.5" mandrel bend exhaust will see much improve ment

not many place do the extractors cos such they have to fab up a y piece to connect the extractors to the zorst

altho if money aint a worry go for it,

i was gunna get extractors with twin zorsts for mine but lift and tyres need to come first :D

I ve been quoted 1200 fitted from Albion Exhausts , full system fitted...... not doing it now decided to sell it before the trip to the cape this september ... V8 troopy here I come , well if the dealer can get me one in time .... the V8 will be handy when XRDaves underpowered 4cyl lux gets stuck in a hole :)

Ive heard extractors/exhaust makes a huge difference.....the factory headers are extremely small and restrictive....

these 3.4's are very well built and strong engines and in typical toyota fashion...underpowered.
