My lux temp has been fluctuating so am going to replace the thermostat. Problem is, it being my first Hilux I'm not sure where it is. I purchased the new thermostat from Repco but they couldn't tell me where it is.
I have been told it could be on top or bottom of the engine block.
anyone please advise with a few tips would be great.

Pretty sure its the right hand side next to the turbo/ under the alternator area without looking at the engine

So the top hose comeing from the radiator to the engine block.

Follow the bottom radiator hose. It goes into an aliminium pipe. This leads to behing alternator then bolts to engine block. Theres your thermostat between that aluminium pipe and engine block
