Compression test is not really accurate, since when cranking it acts as a pump and pumps the measurement up, so it is not giving me an accurate result and it's pretty tough to just crank the engine one rotation.
I could alwats use the oscilloscope and measure the Starter amps, so I can see, if there is any difference, but the engine has run 200k km, so it might be sligthly different anyway and If I don't notice a huge difference it's no good anyways.
But I have tough about different options and best one's still are either to remove the engine head or the oil sump. I was hoping it is easier to remove the oil sump, but it sits directly above front axle and I am not sure, if it comes out, with out removing the front axle.
Any ideas guys? Who has removed oil pan/sump before? on that d4d 2.5td engine?
