V6 to 22RE Engine swap

I want to pull out a V6 and install a 22RE. 93 vintage. Anyone with first hand knowledge on this?

Even the even the 3VZ at 150 hp/180 ft-lbs is better than the 22re @116hp/140ft-lbs
