2013 D4D engine into 2007 SR5 4x4 ute...possible?

Hi after ringing around I still haven't found anyone that can answer the question weather a 2013 engine fits into a 2007 ute ..the old engine does have a water-cooled EGR and is fitted with Euro4 injectors the 2013 engine has Euro5 injectors ..one person said it was just a matter of fitting my Euro4 injectors and supply pump off 2007 engine and things should run fine ( however this is the person supplying the 2013 engine so maybe a bit bias) but really need someone who has done similar or at least has the knowledge to give me a definitive answer......if anyone can help me Id really appreciate it Im keen on the new motor as its only done 8500kms but only if its not a nightmare....Todd

Im doing the same atm, 07 lux with 2012 1kd-ftv
The engine is the same, just the injectors and supply pump they are the only plugs that are different.

Ok just to confirm, my transplant with 07 chassis and 12 engine was a direct swap without any differences, im currently driving around, but 1 thing i will do is have the injectors coded to ecu.

hi just wondered how the 2012 engine has run in your 2007 and what you ended up doing if anything with injectors re coding etc if anything ...with the 2013 engine in my 2007 there is a small amount of smoke which i put down to the difference in injectors from 2007 to 2013 but as yet havent done anything but luckly do have a set of BDG injectors unused for a 2007 ....if all else fails will put them in any feed back regarding transplanting different year engines in different year chassis's would be great not only for me but others who may consider this route but please dont post on assumptions only actually experience because you just end up with imformation overload.....thanks in advance..
