So what is running with the key on?

Got a question and couldnt seem to find anything related in the search

Came home tonight and turned the car off. Had to do something with the GPS and turned the ignition back (all the lights on) 10 minutes later on but didnt start it.

In the quiet of the night, I could hear a pump (?) run or some motor... Could be a priming pump, ABS motor, or anything as I couldnt track it down... Any ideas?

this has been covered many times....its the variable vane actuator on the turbo
