i got a 3" turbo back with a small mid oval muffler and a 100cpi high flow cat on my d4d if anything i got a little more grunt from it at low revs when im 4x4ing i found... the sound isnt quite as loud as id like but i have to be realistic as i dont want a drone on the freeway every day for 40 minutes to work.. but i do know my fuel consumption improved significantly ;)

Rysermon you would feel that because if the cat and muffler. Most pre made Australian certified system will hold about between 30 to 50 kpa roughly 4.3 to 7.5 psi back pressure depending on load which helps the turbo spool up quicker. Well done
