05 hilux rear main seal leaking

Hi all we went out playin in the mud on sat and sun and now I have a small leak coming out of my bell housing I think it is the rear main seal has any one done oil seal replacement and how hard is it
dont give up till its broken and then try 1 more time

gearbox out, clutch and flywheel off, remove and replace seal, i only use genuine seals when doing this job

Depends how far gone the clutch is. I did mine in my 01 lux and just took the gearbox out, clutch and flywheel out. New genuine seal and heavy duty clutch in :-)

Helps to have a hoist though...

The clutch has done about 5000km
Does the oil seal come out easy
dont give up till its broken and then try 1 more time

Problem fixes and I boiled the clutch plate and that helped as well
dont give up till its broken and then try 1 more time
