Lots of experience here.

99% chance its your injectors. Though I've had mine done 3 times and the latest set still makes a slight rattle. I've got 340xxxkms with no rebuild. Might be worth checking your oil pickup - lots written here about that too.

Its important to get genuine Denso when you change them out.
I might be wrong.

Big difference between normal rattle/clatter and a "death rattle"... the latter described by the techs as the sound of BMF hammers on an anvil
