Un-burnt fuel dripping out exhaust

Hi, my 2011 D4D Hilux is dripping fuel out the exhaust. It’s got oily looking stuff everywhere underneath it but I can’t find a leak and all the oil levels are correct.
Any ideas. It’s done 370000km.
I am guessing a turbo issue or more likely cracked piston?

If it runs ok then it isn't a cracked pistons. It is possible your injectors are worn and leaking... Which can lead to a cracked piston so you need to head to someone who has the diagnostic tool to check the injectors. With those kms it's possibly oil getting through into the exhaust. The turbo gets oil into it from the blow-by from the pcv so that could look like fuel too. Without having the vehicle in front it is difficult to diagnose but any reasonable mechanic can tell you what's going on.

It could be either, hopefully its just the turbo.

Looks like it’s coming out of the transmission. It won’t pick up first gear properly until it’s been in gear for about 30 seconds. Reverse is ok.
Picking it up on a car trailer tomorrow and dropping it to the mechanic.
Thanks.

Did you check the transmission oil level? Gearbox issue sounds like low oil level. Tranny oil is pink not black!

If its been in there for a while (370000), it will be black

If it's been there for 370,000km then it would be grease!

Right it’s blown the front seal out. So I am told that this is a sign the transmission is stuffed. A new seal won’t last?
Who is a reliable transmission reco joint in Sydney or preferably the Central West?

The oil in the exhaust was black because it mixed with the exhaust inside the tail pipe.

Sounds like there is a couple of different things going on here.

Get a low km transmission from a wrecker - put new oil in it and go. It be cheaper than getting one rebuilt.

82000kms:

The oil in the exhaust is coming from a different source like the turbo or a cracked piston.

Agreed hiluxxury, any oil in the exhaust has absolutely nothing to do with the transmission.
The second hand tranny is 5 speed, is it easy/possible for it to be a replacement for the 4 speed hiluxxury?
wbute, how long have you had this Hilux? Blown seal is probably overfilling or wrong oil!

Forget the oil in the exhaust. The engine is running fine and I mistakenly diagnosed where the oil in the exhaust pipe came from. It must have just ended up in the end of the tail pipe when it blew out the oil seal in the transmission. I was going up the highway with a trailer on so it just went everywhere, even up the back of the trailer.
I think I am retiring it as soon as possible so I just want to get it going. I haven’t got time to pull it out my self and the mechanic is reluctant to fit a used one. I am going to ring a couple of places tomorrow and get some prices.
I have owned it since 2013 and it had 67000km on it when I got it. It does a lot of highway miles getting me to work. Pulls a bogie axle trailer a lot too. It has an oil cooler on the transmission.
I have looked after it.

Ahh its the A340F box that you are looking for... the 4 speed.

Hope you get it going economically no matter what the you take to get there.

At 370,000kms I expect it won't be a cheap fix, even if you fit a new seal, the box is likely to be rats$#t
As far as oil spread I once followed a cattle truck for a couple of ks and ended up with bulls$#t covering the whole underside of the car, front to back, and it doesn't take much oil to do the same ;)
