Converting a vzn167r V6 petrol to a diesel engine

I own a 2004 duel cab hilux vzn167r. It’s the 3.4 v6 motor. I’m wanting to drop a Diesel engine in it. Does anyone have any advice for what engine to go for? Also what issues could I strike... gearbox/ diff/ ecu/ wiring/?
I’m guessing the kzn 167 would fit, but is there anyone who has put in a newer engine? Is it possible and who would you recommend to do the fitting in Easyern sub, Melbourne
