Diesel smart or cube touch

Postby Yowie on Sat, 07 Jul 2018 2:57 +0000

Gday everyone,

Done a bit of a search and cant find anything much on the diesel smart modules. They seem to offer a large array of control with 4 separate generic tunes for the vehicle.

My other option is a cube touch but it seems very limited in comparison to the diesel smart module but it is tuned specifically to my vehicle.

Just chasing feedback on the 2 options as I'm only looking to speed around $1200 for a module.

Thanks

As a once happy DS customer unless you have access to face to face contact with them I would avoid it.
The module did preform well but it did not last. They have since started resin filling them to avoid some issues

The cube touch or super 4 from ECU shop are the way to go. At least the dealer network is willing to support you after the purchase.

IMHO just changing duration and timing of the injectors will see a big boost on HP and torque. Add Boost (map) control and 160rwhp is easily accessible.

If manual you will need a clutch upgrade
