Hi guys,

Hopefully someone doesn't tell me that I've missed this already, as I did a search but came up with nothing / wrong stuff.

I was cleaning my intake today when I noticed a 'spare' hole at the back of the engine head just below the intake at the back.

Hopefully that shows up? if not its just below the round port at the back.

I put the inspection camera down the thread to check it out but I can't make head nor tail of what it would actually be used for ? The thread is the same size as the banjo at the top of the head next to the glow plug wire

any ideas would be appreciated (hopefully I haven't missed anything on my reassembly )

Pretty sure it's used on the hiace..... Spare on hilux

Dear All - I have just had a reconditioned engine supplied and I am in the process of reinstalling all the components I removed prior to sending the engine away. I cannot seem to find what goes into the hole shown in the picture below. This is under the inlet manifold on the right of the injection rail. It looks as though it goes through to the galleries of the head. As I pulled the engine down I took some photos but every photo I have has nothing attached to this port(?), it just doesn't seem like something that should be left open.
