Could possibly be the oil filter isn't done up properly or the sump plug is loose which is causing the oil to leak from the sump pan at the bottom of the vehicle. Double check the sump plug by getting under the vehicle with a 14mm spanner and making sure it is tight but not too tight. You will feel the resistance from the sump washer if it is done up tight. Double check the oil filter by using an oil filter wrench. You will need to use an extension on the ratchet as the oil filter is down the bottom of the engine

Seems to be higher up on the the engine above the oil filter.

Do you get an oil on the engine cover? If so it could be a turbo hose

If its higher than oil filter, im wondering wether its valve cover gasket or injector oil seal.
The other things that come to mind are if the throttle body elbow is leaking and allowing the crankcase ventilated oil to seep past and drip.

This is a thread i can jump in to, have a 2008 2.5 diesel and its been leaking oil at the "same spot".

Leaking oil frm the rear of the engine, under the head, over the filter, left hand side.
Its a lot of thing there that i dont know what is, it seems to be comming from somthing that looks like a vacum "thing", those flat diagrahpm things you know.

have had the lux from new (2008) and it started to dripp about the same day as warrenty disapeared...
now, the last two months it startet do leak more, have not done anything before, but now i need to.

Search thru all sites and places... cant find anything. and its tight both to see and try to get stuff apart...

Any clue what is there in that section?

Degrease, clean and check for the exact spot it is leaking from. Grab an inspection mirror to help.

Remove the intercooler (easy job) to help see the problem and go from there.
