throttle not working sometimes .Need advice Please.?

Have been told by two sparky's in the know that it will be a fault in throttle body assembley I do tend to agree now as when you stomp on throttle a couple of times it clears it! But next problem Is no one has a throttle body not even toyota! They are on back order everywhere! So dont you think if no one has them mostly likely this is true!
