You could probably graph the values using the record function and see what you come up with.

What it means for how the engine operates would require some real injection knowledge that I don't have :?
I might be wrong.

Hi all,

When i run techstream i dont see any feed back values. I only see revised injector volume#1 till #4.
Is this the same as the feedback values?

Having trouble connecting to my veichle 2kdftv 2008.
Do I have to type in the Vin number to open more of the choices in techstream. I think its the latest software version.

I cant remember... you would think it would auto detect.

You may need to get the build correct though... like selecting correct year and other criteria. Its been a while since I pulled mine in so Im a bit fuzzy on that.

Just wont find the 2kdftv or 1kdftv engine. Only the petrol one.
Bought the approved Amazone type and latest software so It linda connects but doesnt serm to find the correct engine.

Have you tried selecting a different region?
I might be wrong.

You've probably got it set for the wrong area.
Open up techstream on the front page click setup then go to techstream configuration.
It will come up area selection you've got a choice of Japan North America Europe or others' mine is set for Europe but I have a 1 Gd

Just turned out the area region wouldtnb save and every time I tried to start the program over it crashed.. restarted the computer and tried open the program from rootfile and not the shortcut in the desktop that is edited. Then I managed to open program without chosing model and set the region to Europe.

This is the latest software and I cant find the bleedbrake option.
Only manual running abs relay and motor

Anyone?

Having trouble getting ny brake feel noce gain. Have done everything as bleeding brakes every possibleway. And bleedibg the booster (as the manual states when or if you suck air in due to little oil in reservoar)

Tried to lower and rais the loadvalve while bleeding. Got better but not good.

Got this feeling when changed the rotors and pads. Doesnt make sense. Is it as easy as that the drumbrakes in the back is very sensitive to wear?

Hi all, wondering If I am reading things correctly. Did my EGR clean, new denso injectors and coded them this week using techstream. Also cleaned out the intercooler. I have a new SCV there but haven't installed that yet (ran out of time on my days off) anyways listed below are my cold values, my warm up 36deg values and then 83deg.
Also I am running a 7mm plate also just to clarify the readings on the MAF etc

What I am seeing is my MAF is reading high,
my MAP is reading low (havent cleaned these yet)
My Fuel Pressure is a bit all over the shop too jumping from 29990 up to 37000 it got up to 40K during warm up. Once warm the target CR pressure is stable but not the actual - From that I'm guessing my SCV needs replacing? its reading up around 1260 - whats the spec for the SCV?

I'm seeing small amount of compensation on Injector 3 as a result of all of that too - am I right?

Yeah looks like your #3 injector is on its way out.

Have you had a look at the reference values on the first page of this thread? All else looks ok but my eyes are lazy this morning :lol:

yeh otherwise looks ok to me

car is getting injectors replaced as i type this, i love all my cylinders equally so dont really want #3 to become metal lego thanks to an over achieving injector

tonight or tomorrow ill run up the techsteam SW against a cold motor to see how the new (Denso) interjectors are behaving, but anecdotally the car feels more spritely; has more torque at 2k-3k, more acceleration beyond 3k.

id describe it this way: at 2 grand in 5th gear it feels more like i'm 'on' the turbo, much like when you hold a gear at higher revs, with the accelerator pedal having a satisfyingly short feedback loop between foot and movement. This is opposed to before where I had to write a letter to the engine department and wait 4 weeks for approval to accelerate
