Guys my question is for the mechanics out there. Calling on the roo and box head. Maybe a week ago I must have picked up a bad batch of diesel in my 14 sr5. Normally around town I eould get 520-540kms. With the shit diesel I only managed 440kms. Driving as usual around town. Anyway I filled up again and went for a drive over an hour. Parked for 30 mins and when I re started the car, the engine had a noticeable knock. Ambient temperature was 13c. I'm sure it was the injectors. After a minute the sound went away. The car has currently 20,000kms and just got serviced today. While I was at the dealership, I demanded to know the injector values. Now I probably should have read this thread before I went in, because I have no idea what I asked for. All the guys gave me was
1/0.0 - 2/0.4 - 3/0.5 - 5/0.3

I am certain the car was warm and not sure if it was done on idle or high rpm. The engine is completely standard. Will be replacing the fuel filter for good measure.

Just want someone to confirm everything is fine and it was just a case of crap diesel.
cheers
Simon

I would have changed the fuel filter immediately. The injector values are fine, but get it done again cold. Go get a filter and change it before you drive it again.

Could be the SCV sticking with this shitty fuel giving you that knocky sort of noise briefly.
injector numbers look solid there.

Low cetane will always be a problem.
A bunch of us was in Tasmania recently, and we got a bad batch in Hobart.
Do you know what the M/As readings were of the SCV?
The Roo.
Passing through country and seeing country are two different things.

Ok number '#1 was 0.3

Then I went for a run got it up to operating temp then they were
