The 6203 is the tensioner pulley. There are two bearings stacked in each pulley.

Thats what my non genuine one has, the original one has a single large bearing. It still feels like new after 200k, so do all of the 6301s for that matter but I have seen many fail on work utes but they operate in fine dust and mud a lot more than mine had. Carrying them as spares. Next trip ill even take the original alternator as a spare, t he new alt i put in at 200k is the only break down i have had.

Mine were changed out at 300k and felt ok too. The tensioner was shagged though but the bearings felt fine.
I don't sit behind convoys in peoples dust though like you see with some of the instatube influencers... but I was a bit concerned about them being submerged in water crossings, so I swapped them out.

At least now you know they will fit if you carry them as spares. Nothing worse than carrying a new part arround for years and realising it is the wrong one when you need it.

Absolutely... they are also easy to whack out so easy for field fixes.

Hey lads, Just thought I'd let you know the actual problem was not my belt tensioner it ended up being the alternator. Battery light was coming on & off on the way to work & the noise got a lot worse when the light came on.
So problem all fixed & i now have a spare tensioner lol.

Always good to hear the rest of the story and even better to have another spare part up your sleeve!
